In general there are about 10 ... up to 20 (they called) proxies to predict longevity. Some of them lab values after drawing blood, but I'm not so sure no more if measurements of blood values (lab work) that good for predictions, because or body is too complex to look at single values.
With those proxies we can determine "how well are we doing". One is the grip strength the other one is the VO2 max. Both are involving the whole body in its complexity and gaining with the environment and your life.
Without going in details for now, both proxies are pointing to the muscle, which is an organ. An organ that is secreting neurotransmitter and hormones and can be trained. No other organ can be trained voluntary.
We are loosing naturally about 10% of our muscle mass per decade beginning at the age of ~40. But it doesn't has to be that way.
